The players must strategize, plan, ration resourcesĪnd stealthily kill enemies to survive, and work to fulfill the Warden's demands and be allowed to escape. Complicating the process is the presence of hideous sleeping monsters, who have overrun the whole area. GTFO players form a team of four scavengers who are forced to explore the vast underground complex in order to complete the Warden's objectives. A team of "prisoners" are forced to go down into an underground complex built on the asteroid site to scavenge and carry out tasks for a mysterious entity known as The Warden. The Chicxulub crater was formed 66 million years ago by an asteroid strike that resulted in a mass extinction that wiped out the dinosaurs. The game was officially released two years later, on December 10, 2021, during The Game Awards 2021.

GTFO had its initial release on December 9, 2019, for Microsoft Windows, on Steam's Early Access to a positive user reception. but that's just me.GTFO is a first-person shooter cooperative game developed by Swedish indie studio 10 Chambers. I'm not going to skip an awesome deal on a bunch of games I wanted to try but not necessarily keep/replay, just because its Microsoft. at this point everyone and their dog seems to want to have their own launcher for games. and ironically its the one that is optional anyways.īut I digress. the only loader I've never had any issues with is GoG one. The ONLY reason I even get games on steam nowadays is because there are some games that i can ONLY get on steam and nowhere else. randomly get corrupted and have to be fixed (stares and most recent example of steam vr), that occasionally starting the app just makes it hang on checking for updates part for ages and the only way to fix that is to clear download cache. I'm sooo tired of constant updates that break more than they fix, the fact that "always keep this game updated, despite its description stating that update will be installed as soon as its acquired" in reality meaning that they will schedule an update for sometime soon, that every once in a while some of my files just. but in terms of how well it functions? I would say not so much lately.

That doesn't stop other launchers from being fine just to launch games with, especially with the value proposition of GamePassin terms of game selection and features? possibly, sure.

I mean, Steam is unequivocally the best game launcher in terms of the breadth of features and games available on it.
